Three Years of Movin’ and Groovin’

Popcorn is the most underrated snack of all time.

I’ve been eating Angie’s Boom Chicka Pop (both kettle and sea salt flavors) like it’s the only food in the world these past few weeks.

Go pop a bag for yourself or buy Angie’s (not sponsored) because we are celebrating today!!

Actually we’re celebrating something that happened last week, because I’m apparently terrible at remembering my blog anniversary.

As of August 7th, Daily Moves and Grooves is three years old and counting!

I’m not really feeling a super sentimental post (my brain is pretty fried this week), so here are a bunch of random tidbits regarding the journey of this lil ol’ blog.

Regular Posts That Are No Longer Regular

I used to participate in Katie’s “Marvelous in My Monday“, but I stopped that long ago.

I haven’t done a “What I Ate Wednesday” in quite a while, but I used to do one every single week.

I used to have a link love post called “Fascinating Friday Links”, but then I went to college and stopped.

But I do still “think out loud” with Amanda fairly regularly! 🙂

  1. Aww I love this. I started reading your blog in tenth grade, so about two years ago, and it has been so inspiring and exciting to see your journey. You’re part of the reason I started my very own blog. Seeing another high school student, and now college student, building a blog really pushed me to take the step and just do it. (now I’m thinking of Nike :D) I know God has big plans for you! I can’t wait to see what the next few years have in store for you 🙂

  2. WOW happy 3 years of blogging! Funnily enough, I totally remember you posting about some of those foods, like the oatmeal smoothie! Dried figs are somehow a recent discovery for me and I’ve been loving them. The perfect little after dinner treat!

  3. omigosh, this made me smile so big. We love you Alison, and I am so thankful to have found your blog!! Seeing how you’ve progressed over the past 3 years is amazing. Your love for God and zest for life is just so amazing. Happy blogiversary love!

  4. I don’t comment nearly enough…but I just wanted to say I’ve been here since the beginning and it’s been amazing watching your journey! You’ve grown and changed so much and in so many ways, but you’re still the blogger I first started reading 3 years ago and still love reading to this day!! ❤

  5. Happy blogiversary, lovely lady! It’s pretty freaking epic to see all the things you’ve done and how far you’ve come in the past 3 years. Here’s to even MORE epic things and personal growth in the next 3 years. And the 3 years after that. And the 3 years after that. Etc, etc. 😉 ❤ xox
