“Five” Survey + National Pancake Day!

This post has more pictures than words, I feel.
Can we just take a trip down memory lane to reminisce on some of the wonderful {mostly banana} pancakes that have been featured on Daily Moves and Grooves?

  1. I always miss out on all the good food holidays, so THANK YOU for letting me know today is National Pancake Day. And for giving me the biggest pancake craving ever 😛 Brinner is happening FOR SURE. Also, YOU NEED TO COME TO BANFF! That is all 🙂

  2. Did you know that Zach King & his girlfriend are contestants on the Amazing Race this season?? I had never heard of him prior to the show but his videos are too cool. Love all the pancake porn. You’re making me crave pancakes! hahahah

Five talents I wish I had:
    – Whistling
    – Doing cartwheels/handstands
    – I second that recipe developing talent
    – Coding/website design
    – Playing instruments “by ear”

  3. Yay National Pancake Day! It’s kind of sad that I won’t have pancakes for breakfast today, but I will DEFINITELY make dessert pancakes because UMMM WHY THE HELL NOT. XD
I LOVE all of these recipes BTW! The blueberry diner pancakes look delishhhhh!

  4. Yum! I didn’t know it was National Pancake Day! I may just have to take advantage of an excuse to eat toppings…uh, I mean pancakes! (You can see where my priorities are!). This is so weird, Alison, because Banff is one place I’ve wanted to visit from the time I was quite small! Definitely still on the list, but I am a horribly indecisive person and wouldn’t be able to choose just five. 😆

  5. What are you doing to me🙈 I need pancakes!!!!🙌🏼🙌🏼😝
Ok those are literally 5 of my all time favorite movies!!
And that whole “burpee wound from 1.5 years ago” lol I have the same only they are more of the bumping my leg on random odds and ends type of wounds! Lol
Have a great day and enjoy this beautiful weather😘😘😘
Ps just looked up that book our babies ourselves and it looks fascinating
Pss I’m sorry I just comment on random stuff and never answer the questions 🙈

  6. seeing all of your pancakes makes me want to stop what I’m doing right now and make pancakes! I really need to start making more pancake recipes! And yes to the athletic pants/wear all day everyday, it’s all about comfort 🙂

P.s: those roasted brussels are making me drool. I haven’t had them in so long and I could easily polish off a whole pan by myself!

  7. Too much to say about all this in one comment, but I will have to come back. You are the QUEEN of pancake toppings. If we had a topping competition you would WIN hands down. You make recovery, not a maybe, but A MUST for me. You’re like my ‘invisible cheerleader’ that God has so gifted me with because of your GO ‘get em’ attitude about NATIONAL pancake day, eating good food, and just having a joyful outlook on life. Woah, I need to try that cookie dough breakfast cereal too? I would also love to do the ‘five survey.’ It looks fun!! BTW: I would love to tag along on any of your trips that you’re going to take to those places.

  8. oh my god so many feels on this post!
pancakes. PANCAKES. the craving is strong now haha. (i love blueberry pancakes and have several recipes that i make on repeat) but now i have a few more 😀
the parent trap! probably my favorite 🙂
i’m the same way with brussel sprouts. but they’re so filling it’s ridiculous lol
hope your spring break ended well! 😀

  10. Your blog is my new favourite procrastination material! Who needs to study anatomy when they can look at pictures of food and your fun adventures instead? HAHA. Definitely come to Banff! It’s one of my favourite places on earth. ❤
