Life By the Numbers

Hulllllo000!!!

(Shoutout to Sarah and everyone that knows her at the Catholic center.)

How are you all?! My life has been consumed by studying and activities, but it’s all good stuff. My parents are actually up here in Boston today to celebrate the bro’s 21st day of birth! Happy birthday to the coolest, kindest, most penguin-loving brother out there!

I’ve seen “by the numbers” posts on other blogs in the past, so I thought that would be a fun way to catch up with you guys. Basically, I spit out all these different numbers and then tell you the significance of each. Why am I explaining this? You’re all smart enough to figure this out. 🙂

Seven…

Hours I worked this weekend. I’m actually loving my mini weekend job right now because I get to be super domestic by cleaning the house, shopping for groceries, and making food for the people for whom I work. I get ever so slightly emotional when I’m working for them though…doing chores and cooking reminds me of home!

Three…

AM is the time I went to sleep on Saturday night because I was talking with my friends in my dorm room. So college.

115…

pounds I squatted on Sunday for 3 sets of 10 reps. That’s super light for some people, but that’s the most I’ve ever squatted, so huzzah!

Five…

PM is when it gets dark nowadays. I feel like I shouldn’t be leaving my dorm room once the sun sets, but then I remember: Dude, it’s only 5 pm. I dunno, my pillow just becomes twenty times more tantalizing once that sun says peace out.

Four…

psychology chapters I need to study for our exam on Friday. Mehhhhhh.

One…

spoonful of peanut butter I’m craving at this very moment.

Fourteen…

days until I go home for Thanksgiving!!!

8173498…

things I want to bake/cook/devour when I get home.

Two…

inches of my hair I cut off by myself. It’s slightly uneven right now, so my mom’s gonna fix that when she gets here today. I didn’t chop off my hair or give myself Willy Wonka bangs though, thankfully.

A whole lot…

(k, technically not a number) of friends that make me smile every day.

Andddd now I’m out of numbers for ya. I hope to be checking in with you tomorrow with a WIAW post, but between birthday dining and studying, I’m not sure what will happen. All I know is that there are WAY too many food photos on my phone, and at least some of them need to be shared with the world.

I’ll catch ya later, friends! Have a fierce and fabulous day.

So tell me:

Some of the numbers that are describing your life right now!

Are you overwhelmed by Thanksgiving menu options also?

  1. Willy wonka bangs😂🙈im pretty sure I sported that look more times than I care or remember (thanks mom!) lol jk
Just give me some stuffing, mashed potatoes, and corn bread and I’ll be happy this thanksgiving #lowcarbftw😜
Have a great day off with your familia and happy birthday Ben!!

  2. You cut your own hair?! Major props to you. I always want to, but then I chicken out! Although I did used to do a pretty dang good job on my bangs 😉 And girl, 115# is awesome! You are SO COOL. I wish I did weights…

    • I wouldn’t actually recommend cutting your own hair, because hair is not something you really want to mess up 😉 But I was just dyingggg to get rid of my horrid split ends!
Haha, thanks Leigha. YOU are so cool with your lightning speed running and recipes and just your awesome self.

  3. I want to be overwhelmed by Thanksgiving menu options! Unfortunately, our Thanksgiving has come and gone, and it doesn’t seem to be as big of a deal here in Canada as it is in the States. And ohhhhh how I miss those 3 AM chats. It’s been a while since I’ve had once of those, but I did manage a couple 12:30 ones this weekend, so I’ll take that 😉

  4. Willy Wonka bangs is my new favorite phrase. Hahahaha!! I hear ya about wanting to go to bed at 5pm. I mean, I already wanted to go to bed early, but now that the sun is gone at 5 it’s outta control. (For real though, I’ve been going to bed at 8pm. I suck)

  5. You cut your hair yourself?! I’m impressed as it’s admittedly something I’d never dare doing. A friend of mine told me her mum once tried to cut this girl’s hair, failed and then told the hair dresser her daughter had played with the scissors ;).
I like these number-style posts. Yay for going home soon. I don’t have Thanksgiving menu troubles because we don’t celebrate it over here. Bur don’t ask about Christmas. … time to start planning.
