WIAW: Recent Eats

Hey y’all!

I’m gonna make this wonderful WIAW short and sweet because I’ve got some studying to do for the AP Calc exam that is TO-DAY. Please pray that I don’t a) cry during the short answers or b) get so antsy that I start doing burpees during the test.

I just have a whole arsenal of recent eats pictures to share with you all, so in no particular order, here’s what I’ve been noshing on lately!

Breakfasts

Uber messy, but delicious wrap: avocado, spinach, sriracha chicken, and sriracha yogurt sauce that was a little too runny…

  1. Honours dinner? Congrats buddy! I LOVE VIET ROLLS- except for the stupid cilantro. That always gets me. It MAY be the one food where the chilli factor sometimes gets me!

    Best dessert- a mars bar cake. Google it.

    Ohhh I love a loaded wrap; packed with a good ratio of creaminess – yum!
    Best dessert *jaw hanging*, no. Just no. I though I had one..but as off now, I couldn’t choose.
    The idea of you doing burpees mid-test: uhm yeah, totally normal 😉 .

  3. Alison, I just got a little sad. I was penciling in my blend countdown and remembered you won’t be able to go 😦 Sigh, I want to meet you the mostest! Eh, forgive me for saying “mostest” – it sounded good in my head at the moment. #Idigress

    P.S. Thin mints are my JAM, then samoas and the peanut butter ones. And I used to be a girl scout…I even made it to cadets (our little secret) haha. My favorite recent eat was my sushi feast after Sundays long run. SO MUCH SHRIMP. I am excited to see how your food trends will change once you go to university. Hopefully you’ll be able to get your daily yogurt fix 😉

    I was a hardcore Girl Scout for many a years! My favorite cookies were samoas,thin mints, and trefoil!

  6. Everything looks amazing, but it especially want to dive right into that fruit bowl. Omg. I’m so ready for fresh summer fruit, it’s not even funny. I’ve been surviving off bananas and apples for way too long! Hope your test went well today, lady! So close to being finished!!!!

  7. OMG this guy at my school took the AP Cal test and came out saying that it was ‘horrible’ and he only probably got ‘a 4’ UGH! Hopefully your test went the same way (meaning you hit it out of the park!) Anyways, on to much more important things: like food. I am sadly no where near finishing a nut butter jar. If I was though, I would be making those overnight oats stat. It’s dinner time, but I’m totally craving oats now. The struggle is r e a l.

    I just ate black bean brownies for the first time today and I can’t believe they had black beans in them! So good!

  9. So, so much yummy food! I love using greek yogurt in place of sour cream, but my mom is still not convinced, lol! Although I must say your breakfasts are what totally get to me. ❤

  10. Everything looks delicious! How do you like the snapea crisps? I keep seeing them at whole foods and I don’t know if it’s worth the money.
